From one extreme to the other, Ricky Gervais will NOT be invited back to host the Golden Globes again. In the middle of the show last year he was asked to come back, and in the middle of the show this year, it was clear that he would NOT be asked back.
He went from bad to worse to terrible as the night went on. No one was safe from his harsh and down right rude remarks last night. Numerous celebs have already complained about the over the top one liners he filled the show with last night.
When he got to worse he started commenting on Robert Downey Jr's battle with addictions and run ins with the law. From knowing recovering addicts personally, thats just not cool. And unless you have personally been there you know nothing about how hard it is to stay clean when you have an addiction with drugs or alcohol. Even being around it first, I have no idea how hard it is because I've never been there personally. But I also know not to bash it or comment on it like that.
He even went so far as to bash the HFPA President about being old. Needless to say he was less than thrilled and made it very clear that anything to do with Ricky wouldn't be anywhere near the Golden Globes in the future.
There are definitely boundaries when it comes to teasing and making jokes, but those are one thing. Ricky, in m opinion, went extremely overboard with some of these bashes, even after admitting he hadn't even see some of the movies he was spitting on.

Golde Globes Report Card
So here's a low down on who was the best, and of course worst dressed last night:
Eva Longoria totally killed is last night in her gorgeous Zac Posen number. She looked fantastic and easily topped the best dressed charts.
Catherine Zeta-Jones was also on the tops of the lists with her amazing Monique Lhuillier ball gown. And with all the reason to celebrate with the optimistic results of husband, Michael Douglas, latest tests showing the cancer as of now, is gone!
Amy Adams, as shown below, was another chart topper with her Marchesa gown. The blue color went beautifully with her skin tone, and she was absolutely stunning!
Sofia Vergara, Angelina Jolie and Olivia Wilde are definitely deserving of some honorable mentions for some of the best dressed last night. Vergara chose a Vera Wang which accentuated her outrageous curves. Jolie chose a Atelier Versace Swarovski encrusted gown, which is said to be one of the best, but personally I was not a fan. Wilde rocked a Marchesa ball gown with some amazing Christian Louboutin shoes.
Now on the other end of those lists are the worst dressed.
This begins with Helena Bonham Carter with an outrageously busy Vivienne Westwood dress, with crazy hair, and mismatched shoes . It ended up on the bottom of the charts, but I think for her it worked. But only for her.
Tilda Swinton wore an interesting choice of what looked to be a white button down with a yellow wrap around skirt by Jil Sander. Not saying that it couldn't have been okay somewhere else, but this just didn't look like something to be worn to the Golden Globes, in my opinion.
Katey Sagal, Julianne Hough, J-Lo and Scarlett Johansson are also honorable mentions for worst dressed. Sagal went with a orange number, Hough went for a Marchesa. J-lo went simple with a Zuhair Murad white dressed with sheer shawl and Johansson went for a Ellie Saab gown, both of which I feel got a bum rap for being on the worst dressed. I saw far worse outfits then theirs.

Golden Globes Fashion

Amy Adams surely has come a very long was since Catch Me If You Can. She looked absolutely gorgeous last night!

Almost didn't recognize Bieber without his hair to the side last night. But seriously, wasn't this way passed his bed time, haha.

Christian Bale could def lose the hair, without a doubt. But he still manages to be sexy.

So I almost didn't recognize Emma Stone last night either with her blonde hair. I do have to say that I love it tho, and hasn't she come a long way from SuperBad.

How beautiful can one women get? And for being 44 years old, she looks amazing!

Without Taylor by his side, Jake Gyllenhaal looked handsome last night with his full beard.

Jane Krakowski looked gorgeous last night showing off her baby bump. The dress she chose worked perfectly for her.

Another actress who's come such a long way from 10 Things I Hate About You and Save The Last Dance. Julia Stiles looked amazing last night.

How pretty is Maria Menounos? Seriously.

I'm still not sure how Mila Kunis could play such a dark role in Black Swan but she looked great in her outfit choice last night.

Natalie Portman is surely one beautiful pregnant lady.

Ok, Nicole Kidman, who were you seriously trying to kid by ever saying you haven't used Botox? You weren't fooling anyone!

Robert Downey Jr. went for a relaxed gray suit last night with red tie, which only took him 45 minutes to get ready.

I love his Sheldon character. And so Glad he won! Jim Parsons.

Engagement-cation
Candle's, romantic music, champagne, surprise, handsome and amazing man down on one knee.
All of the things that I think of when it comes to being proposed to are looking like something that is going to be no longer.
Prince William and Catherine Middleton are some of the first, of many I'm sure, to take an engagement-cation. Which is where you plan a vacation to pop the question.
I actually find some big problems with this.
1- Do you know whats going on? Like are you both planning the entire thing with the pretense of getting engaged on day 3 of the get-a-way? And if not, wouldn't that be a little bit weird. At least for me, I'm not a big vacationing person, so if my beau decided that we were going to take an extravagant vacation I would definitely know that something was up.
2- What do you do for the honeymoon then? I mean these aren't just your weekend 2 hour drive bed'n'breakfast get-a-ways. Couples are actually going out of country, across country, and on romantic cruises.
3- What happens if she says no? How's the rest of the vacation go then? Do you go your separate ways and decide to find your own ways home, or do you actually stick out the vacation and deal with the HUGE decked out in diamond elephant in the room/car/plane? And if you do decide to stick it out, does it turn into a joke? Or what do you talk about the rest of the time. Small talk can only go so far.. Do you end the vacation early?
4- What happens if one is expecting it to JUST be a vacation and one is expecting it to end with the proposal? Not as awkward as the denial, but I would think that would stir up some problems.
I guess there is going to be that couple that have talked about getting engaged at some point and they go on an obviously not mutual engagement-cation, the proposal ends in denial, and they are able to talk it out, and laugh about it by the time the vacay is over. But what about all those other couples that don't have communication and think they can make a relationship work without it?
Maybe I'm just not swept off my feet yet, so I don't get the whole lure of it all, but I'd much rather go for old-fashioned in this area.
What about you?
BackStreet Boys A.J.
For all of you grown up teenage girls out there, Backstreet's A.J. is heading back to rehab.. again.
In hopes to get really clean for the summer tour with New Kids on the Block, A.J. has checked himself back into rehab for a 3rd time. He has apparently come to the other boys in the group to say 'Hey, I have a problem' which is a first for the group. I guess the first step in that journey is admitting you have a problem.

David Letterman Top 10 "Why You Should Buy Snooki's Book"
Presented by none other then Snooki, herself!
10. 200 Pages of hang over cures.

8. J-Woww gave it 5 wowws.
7. It's so good Pauly-D wants to learn to read.
6. Show me your receipt and I'll grind with you at any night club of your choice.

4. If everyone buys my book the economy will be fixed.
3. Comes with blank pages where you can stick your gum.
2. If you don't, I'll send a juiced up guido to your house.
1. The finest work of literature ever written by an author named Snooki.
Snooki
So who doesn't LOVE Snooki? Or is it, who doesn't HATE Snooki? Depending on who you talk to, its a different story, but whether you love her, hate her, love to hate her, or hate to love her, Snooki urges people to realize that she isn't all 'party girl'.
She has released her first novel "It's a Shore Thing", has a slipper line and a jewelry line already, and is working on a clothing line as well.
Is there more to TV reality than the camera's show? Wait, what? Who knows what Snooki's really like outside of the camera's gaze, but one thing we do know is that she surely isn't going away ANY time soon. Because just as she has said, "My 15 minutes of fame was, like, a year ago." Like, OMG.
Haha.
Secretly, I hate to love her. Well, not so secretly anymore.
Justin Bieber
Little mister badass is heading back on the set of CSI. You can check out the entire article by clicking on his name.
A few months back he debuted on the show (which was also his acting debut) as a trouble teenager who took out his grief from his brothers death by planting bombs. In the upcoming episode he is supposedly given a heads up that he is in danger, and hopefully some of the unanswered questions from the last episode will be answered, already.
If not, maybe the will keep him as a semi-regular character. Who knows.
Maybe we have a new little Justin Timberlake on hand?!
Britney Spears
So, apparently, Britney is now a lyric-ripper-offer. Or so the Bellamy Brothers are saying.
When Brit's new single hit itunes it started topping the charts, but it also grabbed some attention because it is eerily similar to the 1979 song "If I Said You Had a Beautiful Body Would You Hold It Against Me". As of yet, the Bellamy Brothers are not sure if they are going to pursue legal action, but they are definitely looking into it.
The phrase is originally from a 1950's TV show to begin with so how ANYONE but that TV host Groucho Marx can even begin to jump on the you-took-my-lyrics bandwagon is beyond me.
In my own thoughts:
Bellamy Brothers just wanted some attention, because they really can't get mad for someone doing what they did 30 years ago, and at least Britney had the decency to change it around a little bit and not just use the exact phrase.
However, common Britney, you could have come up with something a little more original. I sometimes think she just needs to quit trying. But then the 13 year old girl rises up in me, and remembers how "...Baby One More Time" held the theme songs to my middle school years.
You can check out the article from Yahoo! here.
Babies, babies, babies!!
'Tis the season for celebrity babies!! Yay! Not that it's never celeb baby season, but here's the scoop on who's expecting!!
Jewel and husband Ty Murray are finally expecting after a long (but I'm sure not boring) two years of trying!! Said to be in her 2nd trimester, the happy couple are more then excited!
Tia Mowry, (better known with her sister Tamera) and husband of 2 years Cory Hardrict are expecting their first right around the 4th of July!! Boom boom, baby! Be on the look out for a documentary of the pregnancy, as well!
Victoria and David Beckham are surely a busy, busy couple! Their already happy family is expecting a new addition. I would surely love to see a little girl in that family of unique baby names!
Even though a little late to the scene, Owen Wilson and g/f are expecting their own little bundle of joy. The first for Owen, and apparently due ANY day!!
Double news for beloved Natalie Portman, as she announces her pregnancy and engagement to fellow cast member from The Black Swan, Benjamin Millipied. Looks like they were wasting NO time!!
Jennifer Connelly sure has come a long way from The Labyrinth! Her and husband Paul Bettany are expecting their second child, which will be lucky #3 for Jennifer!
Jane Krakowski at 42 is expecting her first child with fiance, Robert Godley also a first timer. Hey, better late then never right!!
For more baby news you can read the article here.
Brittany Murphy
Per a blurb on Yahoo! (which you can read by clicking on her name) It looks like Brittany actually caught a virus/cold from her mother Sharon and husband Simon after they made the trip back to The States from San Juan. Originally making the trip to PR to film a movie, (which ended up in a "mutual parting" after the film was taking a route Brittany did not wish to continue with and Simon being drunk on set) the couple and Brittany's mother turned the trip into a vacation instead.
Due to the parting of the movie the couple received a lot of negative press, and already having rumors going around about drug usage, Brittany decided not to go to a Doctor due to the likely chance that it would result in more negativity about Doctor Shopping.
In my own thoughts:
I find it extremely sad that because of the paparazzi, we lost a great actress way before her time. If it had not been for the negativity that our lovely media and society portray, (and people believe) she might have been able to see a doctor, be treated for this cold, and still be alive.
Who knows what the alternative outcome could or would have been, but it is safe to say it could have been a great deal better.
